Greetings from my hometown, Monterrey, MƩxico!
I arrived a couple of days ago and have been spending some much needed time with my family. This week, Iāll be installing and getting ready for the opening of my permanent exhibition āDream Structuresā next Sunday (October 19th at the CuauthĆ©moc Metro Station). It still feels incredibly surreal to think that in just a few days, my work will become part of the Monterrey Metro systemāwhere around 334,000 people pass through every. single. day. š¬
Iām trying to stay present, to really take it all in. Thereās been so much to do, but Iāve loved every moment of this journey. Still, I want to slow down enough to simply be here, in the city where I grew up, making art. Iām proud and Iām happy. Iām also tired, but somehow, also feel very alive and full of energy. So excited for whatās coming next!!
Here are some photos and moments from the last few weeks of this journey.
And to Kirk, Kevin, and Sybilā¦you were the winners of a special piece from the last giveaway! Iāll reach out as soon as Iām back to ship your pieces. š
Thank you! š¤
